Meet the Flying Squirrels
RVA's own minor league baseball team is the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Part of the Eastern League, the Squirrels are the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, and they've made their home at Richmond's Diamond stadium since 2010.
The Flying Squirrels have plenty of home games coming up. In June they'll be facing off here in Richmond for a six-game series against the Erie SeaWolves from June 7-12, before taking on the Portland Sea Dogs for six more games from June 21-26.
